OWN, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader to grow our Land Development team in the Kansas City area. This role goes beyond managing work; you will influence how projects are delivered and how the team grows.

You will lead land development projects from concept through construction, mentoring engineers, managing client relationships, and driving performance on scope, schedule, and budget. A strong leadership track record is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of land development experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Strong project and client management experience.
• Experience leading teams or readiness to step into that role.

We are growing our Land Development team in Kansas City and looking for a Team Leader to help lead the next phase!

This role is for someone who is already leading projects and relationships and is ready to have a bigger hand in shaping both. Not just managing work, but helping influence how it's delivered and how the team grows.

What you'll be doing:

You'll lead land development projects from concept through construction, working closely with clients and internal teams to keep things moving - technically, financially, and relationally.

Along the way, you'll:

• Mentor and support a team of engineers
• Build and strengthen client relationships (and help bring new ones in!)
• Stay close to project performance (we're talking scope, schedule, and budget)
• Play a role in expanding our presence in the Kansas City market
• Help shape how the team operates and delivers work

What we're looking for:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
• 5+ years of land development experience
• PE license preferred
• Strong project and client management experience
• Experience leading teams or a clear readiness to step into that role
• A sense of ownership: you care about the work, your team, and your clients
