Job summary

OWN, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader to guide the land development team in the Kansas City area. You’ll lead projects from concept through construction, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

You will mentor engineers, strengthen client relationships (and help bring in new ones), and influence how the team operates to grow the practice in Kansas City. Ownership and autonomy are core to our employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of land development experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Strong project and client management experience.
• Experience leading teams or readiness to step into that role.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development projects from concept through construction.
• Mentor and support a team of engineers.
• Build and strengthen client relationships and help bring new ones in.
• Stay close to project performance (scope, schedule, and budget).
• Help shape how the team operates and delivers work.
