Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Evansville, IN is seeking a Maintenance Specialist who provides primary technical support to plan, coordinate repairs and train maintenance personnel.

You will balance quality, productivity, cost and safety, inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to health and safety rules while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to work independently and with others.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Established record of safety performance.

Responsibilities

• Balance quality, productivity, cost and safety for continual improvement.
• Monitor, measure and report on maintenance processes.
• Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Support maintenance plan by training maintenance employees in best practices.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety rules and regulations.
• Utilize training resources for current and future demands.
• Contribute to continuous improvement plans for maintenance and growth.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Resolve advanced technical challenges by analyzing data and identifying solutions.
• Take control of machine when risk of injury or rapid deterioration.
