Job summary

HonorHealth Shea Medical Center is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Technician for the Evening shift (12:30 PM – 9:00 PM) in Scottsdale, AZ. You will perform phlebotomy, assist with clerical and data entry tasks, and provide excellent customer service at the reception window.

Responsibilities include handling blood draw requests, operating the hospital information system, receiving outpatient specimens, and supporting daily laboratory operations.

• Performs phlebotomy and related clerical tasks.
• Greet visitors and handle reception duties.
• Operate the hospital information system for orders and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and prioritizes blood draw requests (traumas, STATs, ASAP, timed).
• Receives outpatient specimens and verifies patient information.
• Maintains supplies and work areas; assists with daily work assignments.
• Interfaces with nursing to resolve issues in phlebotomy and patient service.
