Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform routine automotive-related duties in a tire testing laboratory. This role requires a mechanical background, the ability to set up and maintain lab equipment, and experience with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background or automotive training preferred.
• Associates' degree in a mechanically oriented program preferred.
• Typically requires 4–6 years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Set up, configures, installs, and maintains laboratory equipment used in tire testing.
• Takes measurements and performs routine tests according to standard procedures.
• Trains, delegates and reviews the work of lower level employees.
• Lead daily operations under limited supervision
