Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. based in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while applying leadership to guide a team toward enhanced customer care and satisfaction.

The role requires ASE certifications, skilled brake/alignment/suspension and tire repair abilities, and the talent to explain complex diagnostics to non-technical customers. Competitive pay and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, suspension, and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by company; bonus per test.
