Job summary

DuPont is hiring a Lead Technician for our Parlin manufacturing site in Sayreville, NJ. The role focuses on analytical testing, QC support, and developing test methods to ensure product quality in electronics and imaging materials.

The successful candidate will operate HPLC, GC, FTIR, DSC, UV-Vis, XRF, and other instruments, maintain records, and support R&D activities while upholding safety and compliance with ISO standards.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. degree in Chemistry or equivalent with hands-on lab experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with safe lab practices and willingness to work weekends/holidays as required.
• Strong instrumentation experience and ability to develop SOPs and test methods.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety, integrity, and environmental responsibility in daily work.
• Analyze samples using HPLC, GC, FTIR, DSC, UV-Vis and other instruments; prepare samples.
• Record results, write reports for projects, and ensure data accuracy and traceability.
• Operate instruments and calibrate according to SOPs; maintain equipment & inventories.
• Collaborate with Scientists to develop new test methods and write SOPs.
