Job summary

DuPont is hiring a Lead Technician at our Parlin manufacturing site near Sayreville, NJ. The role supports analytical QC testing, data handling, and method development in a busy quality lab.

The ideal candidate has a B.Sc. in Chemistry with hands-on experience in an industrial lab, strong instrument skills (HPLC, GC, FTIR, DSC, UV-Vis, XRF) and SAP/LIMS proficiency. Weekend work and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. degree in Chemistry or equivalent with hands-on industrial QC lab experience.
• Experience operating a range of analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, FTIR, DSC) in an industrial setting.
• Strong computer skills and experience with data handling, reporting and SAP/LIMS.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety, ethics, and environmental responsibility in all tasks.
• Analyze samples using HPLC, GC, FTIR, DSC, UV-Vis, XRF and related instruments.
• Prepare samples safely and record analytical results accurately for reports.
• Write SOPs and calibrations for new equipment and methods.
• Maintain documentation and quality records to ISO compliance.
• Operate and troubleshoot lab instruments; manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Work weekends and holidays as required.
