Job summary

DuPont is actively seeking a Lead Technician for our Parlin, NJ manufacturing site. The role will report to the Analytical Lab Manager and support routine QC testing, instrument operation, and data reporting. The candidate should have a B.Sc.

in Chemistry with hands-on experience in an industrial lab and be able to work weekends and overtime as required. Responsibilities include method development support, instrument calibration, and maintaining quality records to comply with ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Requires B.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent with hands-on industrial QC lab experience.
• Must demonstrate safe laboratory practices and ability to operate multiple instruments.
• Experience with HPLC, GC, FTIR, TMA, UV-Vis, XRF, DSC and related software is required.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze samples using HPLC, GC, FTIR, DSC, UV-Vis, XRF and other instruments.
• Prepare samples and write reports for projects.
• Operate and calibrate instruments following SOPs.
• Maintain data records, logbooks, and calibration documentation.
• Suggest new test methods and write SOPs for equipment.
• Work with teams to ensure ISO-compliant quality systems.
