We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lab Lead Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, building, and installing bench top development platforms and large server systems. As a Lab Lead, you will oversee all aspects of lab operations, provide support and equipment to lab users, and work with the lab support team to complete various projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assemble, build, and install bench top development platforms and large server systems.
2. Run all aspects of lab operations and work with lab users to provide support and equipment.
3. Collaborate with the lab support team to complete lab projects.
4. Prepare boards for solder reworks to be completed by other lab members.
5. Run system tests, report testing results, and screen modules and boards for validation.
6. Support lab shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
7. Maintain and organize lab equipment for efficiency and process improvement.
8. Manage Rack Lab inventory, network cabling, and system racking using a server lift.
9. Work independently on projects and serve as the main point of contact.
10. Set up lab benches and supervise their usage.

Skills

Experience with lab environments, manual testing, Linux, lab instrumentation, data centers, oscilloscopes, soldering, and hand & power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Certification or Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5+ years of experience in an electronic or testing lab, including silicon bringup, board design/validation, or system validation.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes and hardware/software debugging.
• Experience with Linux command line.
• Strong debugging skills and familiarity with board bring-up and customer support.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits and systems.

Preferred Qualifications include experience with BMC, server management, network troubleshooting, lab test setups, x86/ARM architectures, and solder reworks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation, EAP, PTO, and more, subject to eligibility and plan specifics.
