Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to oversee phlebotomy and specimen processing services. You will serve as the technical expert in phlebotomy and specimen collection, coordinating activities to ensure timely and safe specimen handling.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of phlebotomy or lab support experience; hospital experience preferred. CPT certification is a plus.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 2 years of phlebotomy experience and/or lab processor or lab assistant Required
• Experience working in a hospital Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred
