Job summary

Circle is looking for a Lead KYC Utility Analyst to join its Compliance Operations team and conduct complex reviews and projects in Circle’s KYC team. The Lead Analyst is responsible for end-to-end KYC lifecycle processes including onboarding, periodic reviews, event-driven reviews, and offboarding.

You’ll operate at the intersection of some of the most innovative products and customers and support Circle’s efforts to ensure the safety of its platform through in-depth customer investigations and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of AML/KYC experience with corporates.
• 2+ years in crypto, including onboarding due diligence.
• Bachelor's degree required; quantitative/technical degree a plus.
• CAMS, CFCS or CFE certification is a plus.
• Experience working remote with teams across time zones.
• Experience with Slack, MacOS and GSuite.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end KYC lifecycle processes including onboarding, periodic reviews, and offboarding.
• Perform complex reviews for money laundering and financial crime risk.
• Monitor ongoing activity and conduct enhanced due diligence.
• Collaborate with business teams and control functions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Document findings with narratives and actionable recommendations.
• Drive standardization and optimization of KYC workflows across regions.
