Job summary

EY seeks an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement advanced memory architectures and data fabrics for enterprise AI. You will lead a team of AI architects, focusing on multi-agent systems, RAG, semantic chunking, and scalable memory solutions across platforms.

Hands-on coding and mentoring are central to the role. The position emphasizes collaboration with Security, Data and Infrastructure teams, ongoing research, and shaping IP while delivering high-impact AI

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Proficiency with AI native development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash) and languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understanding of AI native design processes and memory management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with IDEs, CI/CD, and collaboration tools (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native systems.
• Design context systems including RAG and Skills with semantic chunking and search.
• Implement and test these architectures benchmarking performance against evals.
• Design replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures across systems.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI-native design process.
• Assess emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals through research.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams for practical outcomes.
• Support business development activities for emerging tech as needed.
• Present at academic conferences and assist IP filings.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead a group of experts in building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
