Job summary

Lear Corporation in Kenansville, NC seeks a Production Supervisor to lead the KWW team and drive internal quality and production targets. You will manage day-to-day operations, coach staff, and ensure adherence to safety and Lean/Six Sigma standards on the dyeing/finishing lines.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration with engineering, and strict adherence to process controls to maintain product quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 months to 1 year position-related experience and/or training.
• Skilled knowledge or direct experience in Dye and/or Finishing processes is a plus.
• Ability to coach and develop associates in continuous improvement methods.
• Understanding of Lean improvement methods – Standardized work, 5S, SMED, 7 forms of waste, visual management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the KWW team to meet internal quality and production targets.
• Schedule and assign personnel to complete the production plan on time.
• Ensure safety standards are followed and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Launch/Product Engineering to meet requirements.
• Stop processing if material quality is not to standard and track deviations.
