Job summary

Lear Corporation in Kenansville, NC seeks a Knitter to lead the KWW team, drive production targets, uphold quality standards, and push continuous improvement across the line. You will work under the department manager to meet internal and external requirements and develop the team on the floor.

You will ensure safe operations, manage staffing, coordinate with engineering for new products, and maintain equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 6–12 months of related experience.
• Experience with Dye and/or Finishing processes is a plus.
• English reading/writing and basic problem solving required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the KWW team to meet internal and external requirements.
• Monitor knitting machines and address fabric defects promptly.
• Schedule and assign personnel to complete production plans.
• Ensure safety, quality, and Lean improvements across the line.
• Coordinate with Launch/Product Engineering for new products.
