Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a Lead Kitting Associate to assist the supervisor in daily warehouse operations and coordinate workflow across kitting activities. You will organize customer orders for timely pick/ship, monitor performance, and ensure safety standards are followed in a dynamic distribution environment.

The role requires leadership, strong planning, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office, with opportunities for growth within the logistics function.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of related supervisory/management experience required.
• 3-5 years of related job experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes.
• Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute customer orders to ensure the timely completion of pick and ship orders, and kitting orders.
• Monitor work performance of Veritiv employees and temporary workers to ensure compliance with all safety regulations, policies and practices.
• Inspect merchandise, check for shortages and reject damaged goods on a daily basis.
• Participate in annual inventory.
• Practice and adhere to established safety rules and housekeeping standards.
• Prepare products for shipment to include packaging for safe shipping, labeling and marking.
• Communicate shortages of merchandise through proper channels to ensure accurate billing.
• Understand all applicable regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, etc.) and ensure compliance.
