Job summary

The Bernard Group in Chanhassen, MN is seeking a Kitting Line Lead to direct the kitting team and workflow, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time. You will review production needs with managers and coordinate with supply and project staff to align on materials and ETAs.

You must have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), and at least 2 years in a kitting lead role, plus basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years minimum related experience in a kitting lead role recommended.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming Kitting Projects with Kitting Managers and Project Managers.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Supply Coordinators on materials, raw goods and ETAs.
• Use the project distro to create a vision for the kitting line.
• Determine and coordinate project staffing once time studies have been completed.
• Set up the production line.
• Maintain integrity of all quality goals and metrics.
• Communicate with Warehouse/Fulfillment Operations Managers and Supervisors to define daily work schedules that minimize overtime and reduce labor costs.
• Assist in the training and development of both regular and temporary workforce.
• Meet or exceed OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and helpful attitude in dealing with co-workers and supervisors.
