Job summary

The Imagine Group, LLC in Grayslake, IL is hiring a Lead, Kitting/Assembly to oversee efficient bulk-to-package assembly. The role includes directing staff, ensuring the next kit is ready, and updating operational boards.

You will manage material levels, train teammates, and troubleshoot on the line to maintain quality and productivity. Responsibilities include line setup, first piece approval, and supporting the supervisor with daily workflow while ensuring USPS mailing rules and safety

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 4+ years of relevant industry experience or 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee with manager approval to hire full-time.
Experience in printing, manufacturing, distribution and/or fulfilment preferred.
Willingness to obtain diploma or GED if needed; tuition reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

Direct employees to complete kitting/assembly and report to Supervisor for next assignment.
Coordinate setup of production line and obtain first piece approval for each job/sub job.
Update boards and communicate job ticket details to team.
Maintain inventory levels and notify supervisor of shortages.
Provide training and coaching to personnel; supervise temporary workers when needed.
Troubleshoot issues and maintain safety and quality standards.
Complete load tags and prepare product for subsequent operations.
Meet USPS mailing requirements and apply postage labels as needed.
