Job summary

Culinary Depot is seeking a hands-on Foreman to join our commercial kitchen installation team. This is not a traditional supervisory position.

The Crew Lead will work alongside the crew installing equipment while taking ownership of making sure the job is completed properly and according to plan. Responsibilities include installing equipment, reading drawings, taking measurements, coordinating with Project Management, and providing daily progress updates.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial kitchen installation or related work.
• Ability to read technical drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial kitchen equipment, including hoods, walk-ins, and other equipment.
• Uncrate, move, and set equipment in place.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Identify missing materials, discrepancies, and field issues.
• Take accurate measurements and provide actionable information to Project Management.
• Coordinate with the crew and Project Management to keep projects moving.
• Provide detailed daily progress updates.
• Take ownership of the installation through completion.
