Job summary

Culinary Depot is seeking a hands-on Foreman to join our commercial kitchen installation team. This role is not a traditional supervisory position but a Crew Lead who will work with the crew to ensure installations are completed properly and according to plan.

The Foreman will install equipment, read drawings, take precise measurements, and coordinate with Project Management to maintain project momentum. Health benefits and growth opportunities accompany competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial kitchen installation, construction, or related work.
• Ability to read technical drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, hands-on, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and ability to take ownership in the field.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial kitchen equipment, including hoods, walk-ins, and other equipment.
• Uncrate, move, and set equipment in place.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Identify missing materials, discrepancies, and field issues.
• Take accurate measurements and provide actionable information to Project Management.
• Coordinate with the crew and Project Management to keep projects moving.
• Provide detailed daily progress updates.
• Take ownership of the installation through completion.
