Job summary

Culinary Depot is seeking a hands-on Crew Lead to join our commercial kitchen installation team in Kentucky. This role is not a traditional supervisory position; you will work alongside the crew to install equipment and ensure the job is completed per plan.

You will interpret technical drawings, measure accurately, and coordinate with Project Management to keep projects moving forward. A strong mechanical background and reliable, detail-oriented approach are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial kitchen installation, construction or related work.
• Ability to read technical drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, hands-on and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and ability to take ownership in the field.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial kitchen equipment, including hoods, walk-ins, and other equipment.
• Uncrate, move, and set equipment in place.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Identify missing materials, discrepancies, and field issues.
• Take accurate measurements and provide actionable information to Project Management.
• Coordinate with the crew and Project Management to keep projects moving.
• Provide detailed daily progress updates.
• Take ownership of the installation through completion.
