Job summary

Extreme Cleaning, Inc. is seeking a Lead Kitchen Hood Cleaning Technician to manage a Iowa crew and oversee on-site work at commercial kitchens. You’ll lead safety-conscious teams, ensure NFPA 96 standards, and deliver high-quality hood cleaning on schedule.

Role requires hands-on cleaning, ability to drive a company vehicle, travel regionally with overnight stays, and flexibility for evenings and weekends. Competitive starting pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Experience in hood/exhaust cleaning or related trade work.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to lead a team and hold people accountable.
• Comfortable working evenings, nights, and some weekends.
• Able to climb ladders, access rooftops, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• At least 18 years old.

You'll run a crew, manage job sites, and make sure every client gets a top-quality clean — on time, every time.

What You'll Do

• Lead a crew of technicians on commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning jobs
• Power wash hoods, filters, ductwork, and rooftop fans to NFPA 96 standards

What You Bring

• Prior experience in hood/exhaust cleaning, pressure washing, or related trade work
