Job summary

Adams County Children and Family Services seeks a Social Caseworker IV to lead Kinship Foster Care Certification and Support. You will manage kinship cases, provide behavioral coaching, and maintain placement stability while guiding the team in line with Adams County norms and values.

Three years of casework experience and a Bachelor's degree are required; MSW may substitute. Colorado Child Welfare certification is needed within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as stated; MSW may substitute for experience.
• Three years full-time professional social casework experience required.
• Colorado Child Welfare certification required within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide kinship foster care case management and ongoing support.
• Lead and mentor Kinship Services team; assist with tasks and projects.
• Maintain kinship home assessments and certification processes.
• Coordinate with caseworkers to ensure service needs are met.
• Engage with families to stabilize placements and improve parenting skills.
• Document contacts and updates in TRAILS; communicate urgent issues.
• Develop partnerships and gather community resources for families.
