Job summary

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments of prospective relative and non-relative foster parents through interviews, home visits, and investigations.
Prepare social histories and licensing home studies per standards; review results with supervisor.
Perform family finding to identify relatives and connections for children.
Engage relatives and kinship connections through outreach and meetings.
Facilitate Family Team Meetings and other planning to promote permanency.
Support placement with relatives and kin; provide licensing information and resources.
Collaborate with social workers to ensure family involvement throughout cases.
Maintain caseload including licensed and subsidized guardianship providers.
Coordinate recruitment and retention of licensed/non-licensed providers.
