Job summary

West Main Animal Hospital in Medford, OR is seeking a Lead Kennel Assistant to support our veterinary team and keep kennels, treatment areas, and common spaces clean and stocked.

You will assist with patient handling and restraint as needed, while promoting a safe, organized environment. This full-time role offers competitive benefits and a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a veterinary kennel assistant or kennel technician preferred.
• Comfort with dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments.
• Ability to learn safe handling and restraint techniques.

• Positive attitude and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and housekeeping duties to sanitize kennels and treatment areas.
• Restock supplies and maintain clean, organized spaces.
• Assist veterinary team with patient handling and restraint.
• Support the team in a fast-paced, pet-focused environment.
