West Main Animal Hospital in Medford, OR is seeking a Lead Kennel Assistant to join our team. The role focuses on janitorial and sanitary duties, maintaining stocked kennels and assisting the veterinary team with patient handling as needed.

This is a full-time position with a 5/8 schedule, Monday through Friday. Prior kennel experience is preferred, with opportunities to lead within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous animal care experience preferred.
• Ability to work with dogs and cats of varying sizes.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Janitorial and housekeeping duties for kennels, common spaces and treatment areas.
• Assist veterinary staff with patient handling and restraint as needed.
