Job summary

Peak Legacy Ranch in Peyton, CO is seeking a full-time Lead Kennel Tech/Puppy Caretaker & Trainer to join our team. You will be responsible for both hands-on puppy care and leading the kennel team on assigned shifts.

Responsibilities include feeding, cleaning, health monitoring, administering medications, and training new staff. Prior Kennel Tech experience is required; Veterinary Technician Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have prior Kennel Tech experience.
• Preferred Veterinary Technician Certification.

Responsibilities

• Evening and weekend hours are required.
• Feeding and watering animals.
• Cleaning kennels and enclosures.
• Monitoring and assessing health of animals.
• Administering medications and vaccinations.
• Assist in training and developing new employees.
• Lead and manage shifts to ensure policies are followed.
• Specific kennel responsibilities assigned by Kennel Manager.
• Opening and closing duties.
• Other tasks as assigned.
