Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to influence without authority and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Endurance in a manual labor setting and ability to lift 40+ lbs.
• Ability to read measurements and follow directions/checklists.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.
• Previous Kennel Tech experience required.
• Veterinary Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evening and weekend hours are REQUIRED.
• Feed and water animals.
• Clean kennels and enclosures.
• Monitor and assess health of animals.
• Administer medication and vaccinations.
• Assist in training and developing new employees.
• Lead team on assigned shifts, ensuring policies/procedures are followed.
• Handle specific kennel responsibilities as assigned by Kennel Manager.
• Handle opening and closing duties.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
