Job summary

Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead K-12 Education projects in Beaufort, SC.

Responsibilities include coordinating with design teams, contractors and administrators, managing budget and schedule, producing detailed project plans, and guiding the project through design, construction and closeout. Education/experience: degree in CM, Architecture, Engineering or related field; 5–8 years PM experience; professional registration preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in design and construction for public-sector projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing roles.
• Bachelor-level degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• Professional registration (PE/RA/AIA) preferred.
• LEED accreditation and/or PMP/PgMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with design professionals, contractors, and administrators to meet contract specs and codes.
• Manages budget, schedule, procurement, quality and risk for multiple projects.
• Interfaces with client and consultants at all project stages.
• Produces the detailed project plan and action plans to meet objectives and budgets.
• Implements change management and tracks project progress and variances.
• Ensures timely client invoicing and monitors financial status of projects.
