Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree and at least four years of juvenile counseling experience; a master’s degree and supervisory background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human, social services, social work, psychology, or related field.
• Four years of counseling, casework planning, and social services experience with juveniles.
• Master's degree and supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CMAP and PACT; ability to interview and motivate youth.
• Familiarity with court operations and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional counselors and support staff.
• Coordinate daily operations and caseload management.
• Develop procedures to ensure effective unit operations.
• Provide orientation, training, and evaluate staff.
• Maintain liaison with courts, law enforcement, schools, and community agencies.
• Oversee contracts and data reporting; participate in policy development.
