Job summary

State of Delaware is seeking a supervisory Judicial Case Manager to oversee staff and ensure timely progression of court cases. The role includes daily supervision, coaching, and resolving escalated issues to maintain accurate case data and compliance with court rules.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities with internal and external partners, training staff, and evaluating operations to recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in managing cases as they move through the legal process.
• Two years’ experience in researching files, records, and other sources of information to ensure accurate case data and resolve issues in case flow.
• Two years’ experience in narrative report writing.
• Coursework, training and/or work experience in staff supervision which may include performing as a lead worker overseeing the work of others.

Responsibilities

• Oversees work of staff with minimal supervision and manages objectives, priorities, and deadlines.
• Supervises two or more full‑time positions, including planning, assigning, reviewing, evaluating, coaching, training, disciplining, and recommending hire/termination/promotion.
• Acts as contact to resolve escalated case management and processing issues and understands court operations.
