Job summary

FlightSafety Defense Corporation seeks a JSE Cloud/Cyber architect to implement, test, and verify JSE/SCARS‑compliant software across WST and training systems in a cloud environment. You will deploy secure, containerized solutions and integrate with GRID networks, reporting on data flows and test results.

Travel to government events, maintain ICD/IDD traceability, and build DevSecOps pipelines while coordinating with cybersecurity teams to satisfy RMF requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field; masters preferred.
• 4–8 years in simulation software, system integration or cloud engineering, preferably DoD.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python with cloud-based deployment experience.
• Hands-on with GitLab, JIRA and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible/Terraform).
• Familiarity with ICD/IDD documentation and technical standards.
• Ability to translate standards into software implementations.
• Strong writing skills for test reports and compliance artifacts.
• Experience with virtualization and containerized deployments.
• Exposure to RMF/ATO processes and DoD cybersecurity.
• MBSE familiarity (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler) is a plus.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate software components connecting FlightSafety training devices to JSE over GRID.
• Develop and test message production/consumption and verify data flows.
• Build and maintain DevSecOps pipelines and documentation for SCARS/JSE.
• Support SCARS/SCARS Increment 5 compliance activities and RMF tasks.
• Collaborate with architects and project leads and document results.
• Travel to government test events as needed.
