Job summary

Security 101 is seeking a skilled professional to install, configure, and test enterprise security systems, including access control and IP video surveillance. You will lead project installations, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a licensed journeyman electrician with 5+ years in security systems, plus strong networking skills and the ability to work independently. A clean driving record is required, and Security 101 provides training for certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be EL06 Limited Energy Journeyman Electrician.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience installing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a project lead responsible for complete local project management.
• Must be process oriented with good communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential.
• Must possess a valid driving license and keep a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, configure, and test enterprise security systems with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate system knowledge of access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion, and visitor management.
• Lead a team on project installations and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage quality control and deliver fanatical customer service.

Salary and Benefits:

Hourly wage varies from $45.00 to $55.00, non-exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, 401(k) plan, paid holidays, PTO and more. We will also provide you with a cell phone, laptop, and work vehicle.

The Right Candidate:

• Must be a EL06 Limited Energy Journeyman Electrician

• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a project lead responsible for the complete local project management.

• Must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR.

Current certification in one of the following is a plus:

Honeywell Pro-Watch, Genetec, SWH C-Cure 9000, Lenel, Openpath, Exacq, AMAG and Milestone. Security 101 will invest in training for the right candidate.
