Job summary

Capstone Mechanical, LP. is seeking an experienced plumber to read blueprints, install and repair water and drainage systems, and lead junior workers on site. You will coordinate with general contractors, ensure compliance with codes, and maintain documentation for inspections and safety audits.

The role requires strong math skills, license compliance, and the ability to work with a team under supervision to deliver high-quality installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience.
• Journeyman’s or Master license is required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• Two years of trade school or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Works with other trades to meet specifications, legislation, and policies.
• Plans ahead two weeks and orders materials accordingly.
• Connects tubing and fittings to form sewer, drain, and water lines using solder paste, or solder and torch.
• Directs workers in preassembly and installation of wall systems and fixtures.
• Maintains records of installations and repairs to comply with government requirements and SOPs.
• Attends weekly jobsite meetings and coordinates with the site supervisor.
• Ensures worksite is clean and safe and able to pass inspections.
