IES is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical installation, service, troubleshooting, and repair work while providing day-to-day leadership to assigned crews. This role coordinates field activities, maintains productivity, and ensures work complies with project requirements and electrical codes.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, a Journeyman license where applicable, and a proven ability to read blueprints and schematics while mentoring apprentices and ensuring

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level electrical experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and project specifications.
• Journeyman Electrician license/certification required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Lead and direct electricians, apprentices and helpers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and drawings.
• Coordinate daily work assignments, manpower, materials and priorities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Train and support less experienced electricians and apprentices.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and promote a safe work environment.
