Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Journeyman Electrician in Lithia Springs, Georgia. The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

The role includes supervising craft workers, interpreting plans, ensuring safety/documentation, inspecting workmanship, and traveling as needed. OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain is required, along with a current state Journeyman license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years recent commercial electrical field experience.
• Current state Electrical Journeyman license.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion & documentation of project safety activities as directed.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Completes other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
