Responsibilities

  • Provides functional leadership and day-to-day operational guidance to team members, serving as a primary resource for workflow coordination, training, problem resolution, and decision support, while acting as a point of contact in the manager's absence without formal supervisory authority or responsibility for personnel decisions
  • Provide support and mentorship to a team of job coaches, ensuring all data requirements and contract service requirements are met
  • Support the program manager in supervisory and administrative needs, including coordinating with businesses and partners regarding program needs and concerns
  • Provide specific programming support for growing and maintaining the School to Work Program person-centered training and support to individuals placed in community jobs.
  • Assist individuals in obtaining and maintaining competitive integrated employment
  • Conduct vocational discovery, assessments and career exploration
  • Develop Individualized Employment plans in collaboration with the participant and their support team that supports the participant in achieving meaningful career advancement and employment
  • Provide person-centered training and support to individuals placed in community jobs.
  • Perform task analysis at employment sites and develop job/work procedures for each participant.
  • Conduct worksite analyses and recommend workplace accommodations when appropriate
  • Document and track participant progress through timely case notes, performance evaluations, data entry, and file management, ensuring accurate records and measurable advancement toward employment goals and outcomes
  • Provide information on a regular basis to the Program Manager, employers, family members, and outside referral sources.
  • Promote best practices in Group and Individual Supported Employment.
  • Maintain professional relationships with the business community and establishsupport at each individual job site.
  • Assist Work Experience Supervisors with monitoring staff service quality.
  • Assist with resolving workplace concerns while promoting long term employment success
  • Participate in program awareness, recruitment, community and employer partnerships, and other advancement activities for the organization's mission through outreach, collaboration, and effective communication.

Position Summary:

The Lead Job Coach provides administrative, data management, and team supervisory support for all Disability Services programs. This person will support and guide the work of job coaches in the department in addition to providing the program manager with the needed leadership support for internal and external stakeholders. The Lead Job Coach will also carry a caseload and will be responsible for supporting participants with developmental disabilities and/or barriers to employment in a variety of work settings. The Lead Job Coach provides direct employment support and on-the-job training to individuals with disabilities participating in community employment services, while also supporting any caseload needs of the job coaches. This position promotes competitive integrated employment through person-centered planning, informed choice, skill development, employer engagement, and community inclusion. The Lead Job Coach supports quality service delivery and works collaboratively with participants served, employers, families and community partners to achieve meaningful employment outcomes.

Hourly Rate:

$21.03 - $23.94 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
