Job summary
Synechron is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC to supervise and develop software across multiple initiatives. You will design, implement, test, and deploy scalable Java/J2EE applications, using Spring Framework, RESTful services, and modern tooling.

Qualifications
- Experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Framework in enterprise projects.
- Strong OO design and programming skills in Java.
- Experience building RESTful services using Spring Boot and SOAP Web Services.
- Experience with Kafka for streaming data.
- Familiarity with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and NoSQL Cassandra.
- Experience with CI/CD and development tools (Maven, Git, IDEs).
- Experience with Agile and SDLC processes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with LOB and architects to deliver robust solutions.
- Create prototypes to validate designs and drive architecture decisions.
- Prepare UML diagrams describing current and future application states.
- Oversee multiple initiatives ensuring quality, performance, and delivery.
- Lead estimation effort for software applications and coordinate with distributed teams.
