Job summary
Synechron is actively seeking an experienced Java Architect to design, develop, and guide the implementation of modern, scalable enterprise applications using microservices. The role requires hands-on expertise with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Kafka, Angular, and cloud technologies, working with engineering teams and enterprise architects to define technical solutions and standards.
The base salary is regionally variable, with explicit range for Cleveland, OH/Pittsburgh, PA/Dallas, TX of $125k–$135k
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Proven development experience in Java-based enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, Reactive programming and Spring WebFlux, Kafka and Angular.
- Experience designing distributed, highly available systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Java 17+ applications with Spring Boot.
- Evolve microservices architecture, service boundaries, and deployment strategies.
- Build microfrontend architectures for modular UIs and responsive front-ends.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across the software lifecycle.
- Mentor developers on modern Java, Spring, microservices, and frontend practices.
