Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Columbus to shape secure, scalable tech across marketing automation. You will lead end-to-end delivery, collaborate with design and web teams, and advance enterprise AI-assisted coding practices.

Required: 8+ years Java full stack, AEM experience, strong SDLC knowledge, and leadership of cross‑functional teams. Hybrid/secure enterprise environment with emphasis on resiliency and security.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s).
• Experience leading use of AI-assisted development tools with quality validation.
• Strong responsible AI use in engineering workflows including security considerations.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Experience with headless content delivery and enterprise translation integrations.
• Ability to lead technical delivery and align designs across teams.
• 8+ years of hands-on Java full stack development.
• Experience with AEM and Adobe Cloud capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
• Applies SDLC tools and automation to improve value and reuse.
• Identifies and automates recurring issues to improve stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture.
• Delivers full-stack solutions end-to-end including APIs and deployment.
• Participates in planning to estimate work, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinates with web design partners to align web standards.
