Job summary

JPMorganChase within the Consumer & Community Banking Marketing Automation team seeks a Lead Software Engineer to build and deliver trusted, scalable technology products in a secure environment. You will be a core technical contributor across UI, backend services, and integrations, driving AI-assisted development practices and enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Formal software engineering training with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
• Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools with quality validation.
• Strong responsible AI practices in engineering workflows.
• Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Experience with headless content delivery and translation integrations.
• Ability to lead technical delivery and influence design across teams.
• 8+ years hands-on Java full-stack development.
• Experience with AEM and/or Adobe Cloud capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to go beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews peers' code.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and operations.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and value.
• Identifies opportunities to automate recurring issues for stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and teams on architecture and feasibility.
• Delivers end-to-end full-stack solutions including UI, backend, integrations, data access, testing, and deployment.
• Participates in project planning to estimate work and identify risks.
• Coordinates with design partners to ensure consistent web standards.
• Modernizes marketing campaigns using Adobe AEM and Cloud capabilities.
