Qualifications

• Formal software engineering training with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong Java backend development with multi-threading.
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Ability to lead and mentor a small engineering team.
• Design complex scalable distributed systems.
• Unix/Linux environment experience including shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and pipelines.
• Experience with distributed, real-time processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java applications.
• Provide technical leadership to a small team on design and delivery.
• Build low-latency, high-throughput components for risk systems.
• Apply OO design principles and patterns for modular systems.
• Adopt TDD to deliver reliable production-ready code.
• Ensure security, coding standards, and architectural practices.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipeline principles.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize performance.
