JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within Global Technology to mentor an agile team tasked with architecting and delivering trusted, scalable technology products.

You will own critical components for real-time risk, PnL, and decision support used by Rates trading desks in a fast-paced front-office environment. You will lead design discussions, drive production-grade code, and collaborate across DevOps and platform teams to ensure reliability and performance under tight

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on coding in Java or Python, including production services.
• Experience with real-time risk/PNL or trading systems is a plus.
• Ability to lead complex technical initiatives and mentor engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and development of Python-based live risk and PnL applications, driving continual, iterative improvements across product teams
• Partner directly with Rates traders and stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable, low-latency technical solutions
• Drive decisions on software solutions, architecture, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with a focus on production excellence
• Design and implement secure, high-quality production code, with focus on correctness, performance, and stability
• Own architecture and design artifacts for complex, real-time systems ensuring latency, throughput, availability requirements
• Build and improve monitoring, alerting, and runbooks; participate in production support/incident management
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform partners to improve CI/CD and deployment reliability
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and best-practice standards
• Identify systemic issues and drive remediation aligned to long-term platform goals
