Qualifications

• 8+ years of applied Software Engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading AI-assisted development tool usage.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI in engineering workflows and security.
• Hands-on system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient across the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Experience with Java, REST, and microservices; Kafka streaming.

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions and troubleshoot complex problems beyond routine approaches.
• Lead and inspire a team of engineers across levels to foster collaboration and excellence.
• Oversee design, architecture, and implementation for scalable software systems.
• Produce architecture artifacts ensuring design constraints are met during development.
• Analyze large data sets to visualize and report for continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring remediation to improve stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on designs and tech viability.
• Drive communities of practice to promote new technologies.
• Promote enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices with secure coding, reviews, and testing.
• Apply SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to increase automation value.
