Job summary

OneTrust is seeking an experienced software engineering leader to own and evolve Data Discovery and Data Catalog services, while strengthening AI model discovery across cloud resources. You will guide architecture, reduce technical debt, and ensure production reliability in a large-scale SaaS environment.

The role requires deep Java/Spring expertise, distributed systems design, and hands-on leadership across teams, with a focus on operational maturity and customer value.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, including Java/Spring.
• Experience designing distributed, cloud-native services and APIs at enterprise scale.
• Ownership of production software, debt reduction, stability, and reliability improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Discovery & Data Catalog services evolution with production support.
• Reduce technical debt while maintaining customer stability.
• Improve discovery/catalog pipelines, AI/detection integration, and observability.
• Provide hands-on leadership across Java services, Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud integrations.
• Mentor engineers and drive multi-team architectural decisions.
