Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5+ years migrating applications to AWS.
• Strong Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JSF experience.
• Solid AWS architecture and cloud computing knowledge.
• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with IaC tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Knowledge of database migration strategies and multiple DB systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud Architecture & Migration: refine and improve enterprise cloud migration architecture.
• Architectural Design & Development: guide team to design and develop reference architectures for migrations.
• Application Modernization: break monoliths into microservices, integrate with AWS services.
• Service Selection & Integration: choose AWS services (EC2/ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Containerization & Automation: containerize apps and use CloudFormation, SAM, or Terraform for infra provisioning.
• Governance & Cost Management: work with leadership and ARB to ensure cost efficiency and scalability.
• Communication & Cadence: establish team cadences and report milestones to leadership.
