Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the United States within the AMLKYC Product team. You will be a core technical contributor responsible for building trusted, scalable technology and delivering secure production code.

Requirements include 8+ years in software engineering with Java/Spring, API development, and cloud experience (AWS). You will mentor engineers and help drive platformization initiatives using AI and automation.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• 8+ years in software engineering with emphasis on design and full stack development.
• 8+ years Java, Spring & Spring Boot and API development.
• Experience with AWS, public cloud, APIs, Kafka, Cassandra/NoSQL.
• Experience applying AI solutions and automation to improve efficiency.
• Hands-on SDLC experience and system design delivery.
• Proficient in SDLC and agile practices (CI/CD, resiliency, security).
• Deep knowledge of financial services IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions with architectural thinking.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews peers' work.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to boost stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and teams for architecture alignment.
