Job summary

Walgreens, a leading US retailer, is seeking a Lead IT Support Specialist at its fulfillment center in the Allentown area. You will provide comprehensive technical support across platforms and devices, install upgrades, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software including desktops, printers, networks, and RF devices, while supporting manager tasks as needed.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED with IT support experience.
Experience with printers, terminals, PCs, RF devices and related hardware.
Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office suite, and basic networking.
Ability to translate technical terms for non-technical users and work in a team.

Responsibilities

Lead installation, upgrades, troubleshooting and repair of hardware and software on desktop PCs, printers, networks and RF devices.
Track and monitor issue resolutions with ticketing software; support area processes.
Manage workload and audit task completion; coordinate with IT and vendor teams for fixes.
Troubleshoot second/third level issues for production equipment and escalate as needed.
Collaborate across functions to resolve issues and maintain inventory of IT supplies.
