Job summary

LINQX, LLC is seeking a Senior IT Software Engineer to lead the design, development, modernization, and support of critical software applications. You will guide a development team with hands-on architecture, full-stack development, and technical direction across initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, developing, or architecting enterprise software applications.
Strong Microsoft technology background with hands-on C++, MFC, C#, .NET/.NET Core, and SQL Server experience.
Experience building Windows-based desktop and/or customer-facing business applications.
Solid database design and development experience with SQL Server and related technologies.
Experience building middleware, APIs, integrations, and service-oriented architectures.
Proficiency with modern front-end stacks (Angular, React) and REST API development.
Experience managing software delivery with Azure DevOps or JIRA and release coordination.
Cloud experience (Microsoft Azure preferred) and leadership functionality.
Strong software architecture, patterns, and performance optimization knowledge.

Responsibilities

Serve as the lead developer and technical authority for software development initiatives.
Design, architect, develop, test, and support enterprise software applications.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal and external development resources.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define software requirements and solutions.
Lead full software development lifecycle activities including architecture, reviews, and deployment planning.
Develop and maintain front-end, middleware, API, and database components.
Drive modernization and cloud migration using cloud-native architectures.
Support integration of data systems, analytics, and reporting across operations.
Coordinate with offshore resources and ensure scalability, security, and performance.
