Job summary

Sligo Software Solutions Inc. in Albany, NY is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to drive the strategic IT/OT convergence for the DOT Transportation Safety Management and Operations program. You will design secure, resilient architectures bridging IT and OT for transportation systems.

You will lead PoCs, collaborate across IT, OT, cybersecurity, and vendors, and produce comprehensive design documentation to meet regulatory and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience (14+ years) in IT, OT architectures or lead systems engineering roles.
• Extensive IT/OT convergence experience for transportation environments.
• Proven ability to design secure, scalable transportation architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architectural design for IT/OT converged transportation systems with focus on security, reliability and interoperability.
• Define integration strategies and blueprints for IT/OT systems.
• Lead PoCs and prototypes to validate designs and explore innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, OT engineers and IT teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Create comprehensive architectural documentation and ensure alignment with standards.
